Classical tango music
In Quintet formation at Mozaic Classical music festival.
More classical, or to be specific, Nuevo Tango which we play here - a term Piazzolla used to describe his works to distinguish his style from traditional tango music which originally had simpler harmonies and a rhythm and a form that is easier to dance to… or maybe he loved the term simply because dancers teased him after he would give a tango concert and some traditionalists in the audience would then ask him “Now play us a tango(!)”
